Can you get rid of worthless crypto?

Sometimes yes, but sending a nearly worthless token can cost more than the token itself. In other cases the balance can simply remain on-chain even if you hide it from your wallet interface.

A wallet balance is an on-chain record

For many blockchains, the wallet app is only showing a balance that exists on-chain. Hiding the token in the interface does not erase that record.

You may be able to transfer it

If the asset and network still support transfers, you can usually send the balance somewhere else as long as you can pay the network fee.

Worthless tokens can still cost money to move

Token value and transaction cost are separate. Paying several dollars in gas to move a token worth a few cents usually makes little economic sense.

When doing nothing wins

If the token has no practical value and moving it costs money, hiding it in the wallet interface and leaving the on-chain balance alone may be the sensible answer.
